TTCC will be closed on:
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving day
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
Two early closings:
- Friday prior to Labor Day.
TTCC will close at 12:3 pm. - Christmas Eve, TTCC will close at 12:30 pm.
Please note: Holidays are taken into account when tuition rates are established, therefore, no deductions are made for the weeks of these closings, including Thanksgiving & Christmas.
Snow Policy
TTCC will be open regardless of the weather, unless conditions are so severe that the staff is unable to get transportationto the center. A message will be on the answering service by 6:00 am if TTCC is closed. Late openings and early closings may be deemed necessary due to severe weathetr. Notice will be posted on the front door to inform parents of weather-related openings or closings. If TTCC has no power due to severe weather, we will be closed.
Note: Tuition will not be discontinued due to weather as this is taken into account when setting rates.
Safe Arrival and Departure
Parents must walk their child to the appropriate classroom each day and are responsible for signing their child in and out each day at the sign in table in the front hall.
Let the staff know your child has arrived for the day and provide staff with any pertinent information about your child, for example, up late, someone else picking up, teething, etc.
Children will be released only to the parent/legal guardian or other authorized person as indicated on the registration forms.
TTCC must be notified in writing, by the parent/legal guardian or authorized persons. In cases of emergency, parents/legal guardians may call TTCC and provide the security code word given on registration forms to allow other persons to pick up.
This person must have a phot ID when picking up your child.
TTCC will need a picture ID for the people you have authorized in paperwork until the staff gets to know them.
No child will be released to a person not authorized in writing or security code by the parent/legal guardian.
Children who are visibly upset or afraid to go with the person will not be released to that person and will remain at the center.
Children will not be released to anyone showing signs of impairment due to alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs. The child will remain at the center.
In case of separation/divorce where custody had been granted to one parent, a copy of the legal custody order is required and kept in the child's file.
Late Pick Up
Any child left at the center after closing time of 6:30 pm will be charge a late fee of $15.00 per child for every 15 minutes the parent is late.

At 6:30 pm, TTCC will begin calling emergency contacts listed on registration form if parent/legal guardian cannot be reached. At 8:00 pm TTCC may contact Department of Social Services, if child has not been picked up by authorized persons and/or contact has not been made by parent/guardian.
Late fee is to be paid directly to the TTCC staff staying with your child. If paying by check, make payable to staff member, not TTCC If there is a discrepancy regarding the time, cell phones will be used to assess the late fee. Late fees will not be waived by TTCC owners or director. Late fee must be paid to staff upon arrival but no later than the following day. Chronic late pick up may result in termination of enrollment.
